Posters and Flyers for DUNK

I made a set of flyers and poster for a Big-band course which is partly arranged by DUNK. At the moment I’m working on a new graphic profile for the association. I’ve made a couple of logos and when they have decided which one they want I can do the rest of the lay outing and designing.

Projects at Ramedus

A lot of things going on at Ramedus!

First off. My friend Jens came to me and asked if I could help him with an intro for a documentary about “faith” that he was doing in After Effects. I showed him a few tricks and then he was ready to finnish the intro. The photographer of the documentary Magnus also came over to see that everything looked ok. Here is a pic of Magnus and Jens working at the Ramedus office.

I just finished the poster and tickets for the concert with Thoby Loth and Jeppo Ungdomsorkester. They turned out really good and I’m going to Ostrobothia and shoot both of the concerts in Pietarsaari (13.3) and in Vaasa (14.3). Really looking forward to the concerts, I’ve followed the band since the beginning and they have a couple of new songs that I haven’t  heard before.

I’m also working on their new website at the moment and I hope that it will be ready by the end of next week. A huge facelift for the website. I did the original web-layout a couple of years ago and I thought it looked great, but now I just want to vomit when I see it. But hopefully the new website will look fresh for a couple of years to come.

Another thing that I’m working on is a new graphic profile for DUNK – De Ungas Musikförbund i Finland r.f. That includes: Logo, website, document base, posters and stuff like that. I’ve just started with this project and I hope that they will be satisfied with my work.

But what about the video projects you ask?

My friend Jonas Klemets asked me if I wanted to do a presentation video of him. Jonas is one of the top 10 drifters in the country and wanted the video to continue searching for sponsorship. And what is driftning? Well let me google that for you:

“Drifting refers to a driving technique and to a motorsport where the driver intentionally oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while maintaining vehicle control and a high exit speed.“

I’ve done a interview with him and he has sent me some of his own video material from different competitions the last years. So it’s just the editing left!

This summer I will also do a video “Top Gear style” with him and his team Drift Garage. If the video barely resembles the ones of Top Gear I will be very pleased!

And then we have the next music video project!

The music video duo Tage Rönnqvist and Rasmus Tåg will shoot a video for the Doom-metal band Coredust. I’ve never done anything with music like this and I’m very excited about it. The video shoot will happen 21.3 and we have put together a great crew. We have a basic idea of what we want to do with the video but a lot of planning is yet to be done. Hopefully we will have everything sorted out by the 21st of March.

That’s about it.

One other thing. Today I´m going to shoot some portraits of Oy Botta Abs board of directors for their annual report. I will also make the cover for the same report.

One last thing. Have you seen this commercial? Simply brilliant! Although I don’t enjoy the scent of Old Spice I really enjoy their manly commercials.
