At lunch today I met a couple of friends that were shooting an “artsy-fartsy” short film on RED ONE. Since I’m such a Red fan I said that I would love to come and help them with the project. I ended up splashed in shaving cream after shaving a bunch of balloons covered with shaving cream with a shaving knife. I don’t remember what the story of the video was but it was great fun! Here is a couple of pics from the shoot!
This evening I also had a meeting with Tage Rönnqvist and Anders Lönnfeldtabout our coming Coredust music video. We have now finished the script and Tage will go and meet the band tomorrow and present the idea. Hope that they’ll like it! Now we just have to figure out the shot list and what gear to use. It will be shot with the Canon 5D mark II.
Here is a pic of me and the boys! Am I the only one taking this seriously?
The Cajunga, live at Svenskatalande Klubben, Korjaamo!
During the last two days the band The Cajungahad a mini tour in Helsinki. They played at Korjaamo on wednesday and at Lepakkomies yesterday. Great fun hanging out with the boys! Here is a coupe of pics from their gig at Korjaamo!
As I mentioned in a earlier blog post I am doing a presentation video for the drifting driver Jonas Klemets. Today has been the day of making the intro in After Effects, love that program. The intro turned out great and I think that it will get the viewers attention. Here is a screenshot from the intro with a still of the man himself.
Tomorrow evening I will go to Korjaamo and take some live stills of The Cajungas gig. I haven’t actually seen the guys live before as The Cajunga so I’m very excited about the gig and I hope to get some nice shots!
Tomorrow I will also get a visit from the mighty Flute Phantom, aka. Tobias Tåg from Thoby Loth, aka. my brother. He will be a guest on a live morning show on Finnish television called “Min Morgon” where he will be talking about the process of writing songs. Check it out Thursday morning at FST5! Or watch it later on YLE areena!
Just finished the new Thoby Loth website and I’m very satisfied with the result! You can visit the website HERE! A huge improvement from the previous one! Now I’m open for new website projects, so if you need one contact me!
A couple of days ago I got a package from WING Recordswith the new album from The Cajunga called Dancing With the Boys which I did the design and layout for. I have the layout in my portfolio but that’s just taken from the PDF file that I sent to print. Here is the real deal, check it out!
By the way, the record sounds great and if you live in Helsinki and want to see them live they will play at Korjaamo 3.3 and Lepakkomies 4.3. I’m going to be there with my camera and shoot some live photos of the boys.
I also collected a bunch of albums that I have done during the past years and took a photo of the real deal.
From the top left: Fredrik Furu – Dagar och Nätter (single), Fredrik Furu- Hollywoodhjärtan, Thoby Loth – Lägereldarnas Tid, The Cajunga – Let Me Keep My Heart (Single), The Cajunga – Dancing With the Boys, The Oh La Las – Songs From The Third Floor.
I made a set of flyers and poster for a Big-band course which is partly arranged by DUNK. At the moment I’m working on a new graphic profile for the association. I’ve made a couple of logos and when they have decided which one they want I can do the rest of the lay outing and designing.
If you don’t give a shit about camera gear and photography you might as well stop reading here.
I thought that some of you photographers and photo interested people might be interested in what camera gear I use and what I like and don’t like about it. And If you’re maybe thinking of buying a new lens or something else you might get a tip or two.
I’m going to do a couple of blog posts about what kind of camera gear I have in my bag. Not every little thing though, but I’m going to write short reviews about my camera body, flash, lenses and the most important accessories.
The reviews will be posted now and then when nothing else happens, so keep your eyes open.
Part 1 – The camera body, will be the first review, stay tuned!
The Insignificant Truth is a British style action/comedy directed by Kenneth Klaile. This weekend we shot the last sequences for the movie and the crew can now start with the epic post production. The movie is shot on 16mm film and mixed with still photo sequences at 6 frames/second. We have already done a 5 day shoot at the end of January on film and still, but this time we only took still sequences. My role under this productuion was camera assistant during the first shoot and lighting and camera assistant during this weekends still shoot.
Here is a couple of stills from this weekends shoot!

My friend Mentor Dreshaj wanted to test the new RED ONEthat Mediacity in Vaasa had bought. The “test shoot” ended up as a new music video for my friend and client Fredrik Furu. I did the layout and design for Fredriks solo album and single and also posters and stuff like that, you can find some of it in the portfolio.
I really like this song, it’s one of my favorites from Fredriks album. Mentor did a great job with the video. A lot of cliches in the story but the message gets through and the video has a lot of good looking shots that gives you the right feeling.
So here it is, Fredrik Furu – Halspastill, directed by Mentor Dreshaj
A few hours ago my colleague Tage Rönnqvistcalled me and announced that we will make a new music video for the band Walkalone. Tage had a sit-down with one of the band members today and they made the deal. The video shoot will happen sometime in March or April, probably after we have finished editing our Coredust video.
Thanks to Tage for fixing yet another music video gig for us! I pay my respects by posting a photo of him sitting at the Ramedus desk during The Cajunga video editing.
Today I started the editing of the Jonas Klemets project. It’s going to end up as an 1-2min presentation video of him and I hope that I can do something cool with the handheld mini-HD cam video material in After Effects afterwards.
I´m also fixing the new Thoby Loth site, but can’t get a decent music player to work in Wordpress, anyone have any ideas?
